On March 23, 2013, the final report meeting for international joint research program of Tsinghua University--Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd has been held in West Lake of Hangzhou. Dr. Haifang Li and Prof. Jin-Ming Lin attended this meeting and presented the research results on "Development of analysis method for solid deposit" for the experts. Mr. Hirofumi Hayashibara and Mr. Seiji Takahana came from Japan also attended this discussion and answered the questions from the experts. With this research, we developed a method for the preparation of different type of carbon particles and studied the deposition of these carbons on to the surfaces of different materials.

Our research group has jointed to this international research program from five years ago. It not only obtianed many innovation technique results, but also given a good chance for the student education. Three students have get their master degree and then obtained the scholarship from Tokyo Goverment to study the PhD in Tokyo Metropolitan University. Dr. Ying Li has been a postdoctoral in Kanazawa University after she got the PhD with this program.
