2019 China-Japan-Korea symposium on analytical chemistry (CJK 2019) has been held at Kyung Hee University (Global Campus), Yongin, Korea on October 11-14, 2019. The conference provided a forum for the analytical scientists to discuss their recent progress, to exchange the ideas and experiences on a broad range of analytical sciences, and to promote international cooperation and friendship.
Our group's doctoral student Shuo Feng won the poster award with the title of “An open-space microfluidic chip with fluid walls for online detection of VEGF via rolling circle amplification” in this conference. This study reported an open-space microfluidic chip with fluid walls, integrating dual functions of cell culture and online semi-quantitative detection of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) via rolling circle amplification (RCA) reaction. Meanwhile, the cell secreting VEGF under different hypoxia microenvironment induced by chemical reagent could also be detected. The designed device could provide a new perspective for micro-total analysis.
